5 things to do with kids in Madrid

A botanical garden and theme park just a few kilometres from Madrid in San Martin de Valdeiglesias. Every weekend you can enjoy open-air puppet theatre in El Retiro Park on the Paseo de México very near the Puerta de Alcalá. The performances are free and include in August, for example, 3 Little Pigs, ‘Fuenteovejuna’ or Jack and the Beanstalk. A perfect way to combine fun, theatre and literature.
