Two unique terraces in Madrid that you can only enjoy this summer

By | 23 June, 2023 | 0 comments

How we have been looking forward to summer! And there’s nothing better than celebrating it on one of the two unique terraces that have been installed in Madrid just for the summer months. It is the best way to spend an evening with colleagues or friends after work. If you like German beer or an Italian aperitif spritz, don’t hesitate to visit these two places.

Biergarten de Paulaner

Biergarten means “beer garden” in German, an open-air space where you can enjoy the best German beer and gastronomy. Paulaner has opened its own biergarten in Madrid, located outside the Metro and Cercanías ‘Príncipe Pío’ station.

On this terrace, you can enjoy not only different beers, but also the most delicious Bavarian dishes, such as the famous sausages (bockwurst, bratwurst, moruna or veggie), pretzels, knuckle of pork and apple pie. All accompanied by the best live music (Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 8.30 pm). But please note that they are not open every day, the opening hours are Tuesday to Sunday from 7 pm to midnight.

A new edition of the Aperol Spritzeria is back on the Bocanegra terrace in Madrid. An open-air space where you can enjoy a fun evening with your friends. You can also enjoy one of the most popular Italian drinks of the moment: the Italian aperitif spritz. A very refreshing drink, typical of the evening, made with Aperol, prosecco and sparkling water. You can also accompany it with a tasting platter of the best Italian cured meats.

To complete the experience, there are various activities on offer, such as the brunch designed by Gipsy Chef with delicious dishes such as truffled mortadella focaccia, burrata, pine nuts and quince jelly (Sunday 18 June); the gastronomic workshop with Laura López to create the best cheese and charcuterie platters (Wednesday 21 June); the authentic Italian aperitif with a selection of Italian products such as focaccia, Bologna mortadella and cheeses (every Saturday until 1 June, which is the final day); and the Summer Gastro Experience (with finger food, three food corners with delicious gastronomic proposals, numerous raffles where you can even win a trip to Venice, hosted by the fantastic Luc Loren).

Two unique places to enjoy the summer evenings in Madrid.
