The best soundtracks in Madrid by candlelight
In this most unusual winter we are living in the Spanish capital, there are still surprising cultural activities that offer unique and, of course, safe experiences. One of them is a candlelit concert featuring the most mythical soundtracks.
‘Candlelight: String quartet plays soundtracks by candlelight’, invites us to remember some of the greatest film soundtracks in a unique setting. The Hotel Wellington in Madrid will be filled with candles on 5 February, creating a very special atmosphere. The protagonists of this evening are the string quartet known as Matrice. We are sure you will be surprised by their talent.
There will be two sessions, one starting at 19:00 and another at 21:00. Each concert will last 60 minutes. To guarantee the safety of the attendees, please avoid forming crowds and following the health measures. The public can enter the hall up to 45 minutes before the start of each session.
The programme includes film soundtracks as well-known as J. Williams’ Indiana Jones; E. Morricone’s Cinema Paradiso; H: Zimmer’s Pirates of the Caribbean; J. Williams’ Harry Potter; J. Horner’s Legends of the Fall; J. Williams’s Jurassic Park; J. Berry’s Out of Africa; H. Zimmer’s Gladiator; R. Djawadi’s Game of Thrones; J. Horner’s Braveheart; H. Shore’s The Lord of the Rings; E. Morricone’s The Ecstasy of Gold and J. Williams’s Star Wars.
